Skin Care: Routine in Summer

 

Skin is the basic thing in our looks that attracts most of the people we meet in our daily life. Based on good looks may someone like us or not. So it is very essential to make it clean, fresh, attractive, and healthy.

Skin is the largest organ in the human body which is act as a barrier between the environment and the internal parts of the body. It protects us from many viruses and bacteria. Caring skin retains for a long time and gives you so younger looks. No doubt our genes also matter a lot to flourish and glow the skin but our exposure to the environment makes it so dirty and dull.

We have to provide some care and protection to our skin to make it so healthy. Many seasonal changes also affect the texture of the skin as summer and winter make them so oily and dry respectively. It mostly consists of three basic steps that will follow in summer and winter.

Skin Care Routine in Summer

In the Summer season, we already know that the temperature is so high in our environment which causes dehydration and evaporation of water. Ultraviolet rays are also present in high intensity so, it is necessary for all skin types rather it is dry, oily or combination skin to get some protection.

UV rays have so harmful impact on our skin it may also cause skin cancer and skin to become so dull. Our goal is to make our complexion so better because the need for skin changes with time. As you become older, you need to give your skin more time and healthy products.

As we know above the basic steps of skincare, especially in the Summer season are:

Use of Cleanser

Wash your face daily twice a day because the skin has direct contact with the environment which has pollutants and dust particles. One thing to keep in mind is that we should always use a good quality face wash and body shower.

Use of Toner

Toner is a beneficial product that makes your skin hydrated in the summer season. After washing your skin with cleanser, you must apply a toner that exfoliates the dead cells. Apply toner on your skin with clean hands. It also clogged the pores of the skin.

Use of Serums

Serums are very important as these products may provide antioxidants that give your skin anti-aging benefits.

Mostly serums that contain Vitamin E and Vitamin C are most beneficial for all skin types.

We can intake these vitamins orally as a supplement. You should apply it daily on your face to make your skin healthy and glowy. Just 2 to 3 drops of these vitamins are essential.

By continuous use of vitamin C, you will observe that it reduces the dark spots and revitalizes it also brightens your skin. Vitamin C is also known as ascorbic acid which can be used as an anti-aging agent.

Retinol or Vitamin B3 protects the skin from sagging and produces more collagen which gives elasticity.

 

Use of Moisturiser

Every skin type needs a moisturizer with a good quality product. But the moisturizer should be according to the skin type. It depends on which type of skin you have. A good moisturizer will provide your skin with a healthy type of ingredients that keep it away from tanning.

Use of sunscreen or Sunblock

Sunscreen must be an essential product in our daily life. To get some protection from Ultraviolet radiations or rays we should use lotions that contain SPF of at least 30.

Most probably people even have no idea about these kinds of products which mostly live in towns or villages. Nowadays it is easily available in all marketplaces with good quality and in broad spectrum SPF 60.

But for skin care, you should have to remove this sunblock before going to sleep at night. Sunblock contains titanium oxide and also zinc oxide which provides a shield between your skin and Ultra violet rays.

It is not even hard to apply, the easiest thing that you can apply on your skin and it is transparent.

Without using sunscreen you may feel summer skin becomes so dull and irritated and your complexion is also lost. The texture and skin type color also diminish with time.

Before going outside you should have applied sunscreen 30 minutes ago. And again reapply within 2 hours in intervals.

 

Use of Day Cream

Day creams provide the skin antioxidants which makes it so young. It also contains SPF which protects from Ultraviolet radiation and also gives a shield to your skin. It contains Vitamin C and this vitamin has anti-aging capability.

 

Use of Night Cream

Night creams are mostly used at night time after day time. Night creams revitalize the skin and repair the damaged parts of the skin, hydrate the face skin, and also make its texture so thick. As you apply at night, you will feel that your skin becomes moisturized and so healthy.

 

Make it hydrated

Using plenty of water in summer makes your skin so hydrated and fresh.  By intake of more water, the body may flush out the toxins which accumulate in the body and cause pimples and acne. Mostly it is observed that in summers, people used to suffer from many kinds of acne, its reason may be a deficiency of water. By drinking water, the skin becomes so fresh and glows day by day.

 

Less use of heavy makeup

Summer is not the right time to have a heavy look of makeup on your skin. It makes your skin so cloggy and also traps pollutants from the environment. Even if you want to have some light makeup on your skin just put CC cream on your face or lightweight foundation.

Use of Aloevera

Fresh aloe vera if you have it is so perfect for your skin. If you don't have fresh aloe vera then you can get this in the gel form from the market. It has more than 100 kinds of benefits which we can get from its inner mucus. It is the best remedy for skin in the summer season. It softens the skin and also makes your skin tighten.
